Concrete Cube Infill House
Indianapolis, Indiana 2019
Program:
Single-family residence / Office
Status:
Design
This Indianapolis, inner-city house is planned to be the residence and new base of operations for Puzzello Architecture Practice. It will be built on an existing foundation left there from the demolition of a former fire-damaged house on the same site. Shaped explicitly by the city grid, the flat roof offers access and location for environmental appointments such as a green roof and active solar panels. The house is an exercise in compact urban living and modern design. Major materials include poured-in-place concrete, red stained wood, and rubber.
