Peter and the Wolf
Bloomington, Indiana 2007
Status: Complete
The set design for this ballet presentation of “Peter and the Wolf” was created for minimum intervention of physical props as the dancers portrayed not only characters, but static placements of objects such as trees and water. The lighting effects moved from dark and sinister to bright and cheerful depending on the mood of the scene. At the center stage is an interpretation of a tree as a tree stump, as characters in the performance needed to be “up in a tree”.
