Bedside Tables

Program: Set of bedroom nightstands

Status: Construction complete

These tables were made from salvaged school desks from a dumpster.  The original metal desks were sanded to bare metal, painted, and fitted with an unpainted MDF tabletop.  The MDF tops were digitally routed with constellations of holes to allow down-lights to penetrate to the book space purposely kept empty.  This space becomes reserved only for light.
